This Book Gives You 401 Reasons To Fall In Love With Delhi!

While Delhi is often talked about for its iconic monuments, cultural heritage, and great street food, there’s so much more to the capital city. And that’s exactly what author Fiona Caulfield, and luxury lifestyle hotel, Andaz, are here to prove. They are giving you several reasons to fall in love with Delhi. 401 of them, to be precise!

Fiona Caulfield, an avid traveller and creator of the famous Love Travel Guides, started writing the book 401 Reasons To Fall In Love With Delhi in 2014, and launched it last year at the gorgeous property of Andaz.

Why 401, you ask? Andaz has 401 rooms, each of them capturing a different aspect of the essence of New Delhi.

Every room has a theme that together encapsulate what Delhi is really all about. Divided into 12 sections, the book brings out every aspect of the capital. From India Gate to Rikhi Ram (a music store loved by The Beatles), the book has everything that will make you fall head over heels in love with Delhi.

Talking of the beauty of Delhi, painting it through the interiors of the hotel, and giving it life through Fiona’s words… 401 is for those who want to see a wonderful side to the city, for those who love history, and those who are proud of the rich heritage of our country.

Bright, colourful, eye-catching images support each reason, leaving no room for excuse. Wrapped in a deep yellow colour, the cover makes the book the perfect addition to your bookshelf or coffee table, and a must-have on your summer reading list.

Available at the in-house gift store at Andaz Hotel, it will make you want to plan a trip to the capital ’cause it is much more than what the headlines say! Oh, and you cannot not stay at the Hyatt property when there. I already have my eyes set on Room 365, based around the bustling Khan Market. Yes, I’m hoping to get some yummy chicken rolls during my stay!

This is a dedicated post in collaboration with Andaz.
