7 Foods To Eat For A Flat Stomach

By  |

Well, you know what they say, ‘Abs are made in the kitchen!’ While working out and keeping a steady fitness routine is a big part of achieving a strong and healthy body, unfortunately, you can’t just go about eating crazy junk, can you?

And hey, I’m all about a binge day, but ensure binges are just that, about once a week and not more. Instead, fill yourself up with healthy foods that will help you get those abs. It’s not about starving, it’s about eating right. Oh, and, drinking lots of water, of course!

So, take a look at the 7 foods you must include in your diet if you want that flat tummy by Diwali!

Almonds

1. Almonds

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant and almonds are full of them, as well as omega-3 fatty acids. They lower your blood sugar and have been studied as a nut that helps block your calories. Don’t overdo it, just eat about 3 to 4 a day. It’s better if you eat ones that are soaked for a couple of hours, so your body finds it easier to digest.

Avacado

2. Avocados

Avocados deliver the right kinds of minerals, vitamins and fats to your body. Fats are necessary for healthy digestion and functioning of the body. Avoid trans fats and eat superfoods like avocados for a healthy mind and body.

Apple

3. Apples

Apples are healthy, that’s something we all know! But, as the apple delivers the right kind of sugar and nutrients to your body, it will also fill you up really fast. This means you won’t need to snack on extras.

Mushrooms

4. Mushrooms

Mushrooms have lots of fibre and protein, but they’re low on calories. Plenty of nutritionists recommend adding this to your meals for weight loss. Plus, they’re high on Vitamin D, which is associated with cutting down belly fat.

Berries

5. Berries

Want to satisfy your sweet cravings without all that sugar? Fresh berries are the perfect addition to oats porridge or great for just as a mid-day snack. They help get your digestive processes in order and reduce bloating, which means abs come faster!

Broccoli

6. Broccoli

You can opt for broccoli, but most dark green or leafy vegetables can do the trick! This is another low calorie vegetable that’s packed with nutrients. It’s great for a flat stomach.

Apple Cider Vinegar

7. Apple Cider Vinegar

For many years, apple cider vinegar has been considered a medicinal tonic. It can help you lose weight, especially around your abdomen. It has been known to burn fat and increase metabolism. If you find it hard to incorporate in your food, have it every morning in a mug of warm water.
