6 Hacks To Turn You Into a Morning Person

If you are one of those people who hits the snooze button at least a hundred times before you actually wake up, we won’t judge you. Waking up early is no easy task, but dragging yourself out of bed every morning shouldn’t have to be such a struggle.

What if we told you that you could actually become a morning person? Yes, for real.

These hacks are as easy as 1-2-3, and we bet they’ll transform your mornings for good!

1. Have a consistent sleep schedule.

Alter your bedtime routine and stick to a schedule. Only if you actually get a full night’s rest will you be able to wake up early and fresh. It’s a no brainer!

2. Don’t use your smartphone just before bed.

Let’s be honest. We all have this habit of scrolling mindlessly through Facebook just before going to bed. Well, it’s time to break that habit.

Being exposed to your screen light keeps your brain active long after you’ve shut your eyes. So it’s hard to feel refreshed the next day. Try reading a book instead, before you hit the sack.

3. Use a loud alarm tone.

Make sure that your alarm tone is a pop, rock or techno song… basically, something that will shake you out of your slumber. Also, it’s best to keep changing your alarm tone, so your body does not get used to it.

4. Keep your alarm clock across the room.

You know why. The walk to the alarm clock is bound to wake you up!

5.  Keep your curtains open.

Natural light is not just good for you, it also works as a great wake-up call! Let the sunlight in and you might just start loving mornings a whole lot more.

6. Have a motive.

Plan something exciting for the next day — maybe a breakfast with your partner, a sweat session at the gym, or whatever else works for you. The idea is to have something that motivates you to get out of bed.
