10 Movies You Should Watch On Christmas

10 Movies You Should Watch On Christmas

Merrry Christmas you guys! And Christmas couldn’t have been merrier with the long weekend here. If you’re like us and have absolutely no time to sit back and unwind, you’ll already have a zillion ideas on how to make the most of these three days. One thing I never fail to do is catch up on my favourite romcoms on those rare occasions when I have no other chores to run.

There’s no better time than Christmas to curl up in bed and watch these rom-coms with a cup of hot chocolate or a bowl of popcorn by your side. Everyone’s got a favourite holiday movie, but here’s my list of must-watch movies.

Happy watching!

1. Love Actually

Love Actually is a movie on 8 extremely different couples and how their stories unfold. With a cast like this, this movie will never ever get old!

2. Home Alone

Home Alone is by far my favourite Christmas movie ever! The movie is based on this kid who gets left behind while his family goes for a Christmas vacation and how his Christmas unfolds thereafter.

3. You’ve Got Mail

You’ve Got Mail is one of those movies which make you wish it were actually possible in real life. This movie is about two rivals at work who fall in love over the internet unknowingly.

4. Bridget Jones’s Diary

It’s got Hugh Grant and Colin Firth, enough said. Go watch it now!

5. The Holiday

This movie makes you want to travel just so you find love in exactly the same way as Cameron Diaz did. This movie is a lot of fun and precisely what you should be watching this Christmas!

6. Elf

If you want to watch a funny Christmas movie, look no further and just download Elf. A movie based on a man who’s raised as an elf and goes to U.S.A to find his true identity, Elf is one movie you cannot miss out on.

7. Jingle All The Way

Jingle All The Way  has Arnold Schwarzenegger traveling all over town to get his son a Turbo Man action figure for Christmas. And it gets fun when he’s got to compete with everyone else to get his hands on one.

8. The Polar Express

I LOVE watching The Polar Express as many times as you’d ask me to. Based mainly on the Christmas spirit, this movie is about a child learning all about Christmas and friendship on his adventure to the North Pole.

9. How The Grinch Stole Christmas

Jim Carrey is set to ruin Christmas for people in Whoville in How The Grinch Stole Christmas. He plays a Grinch who only wants revenge and that’s why you need to watch it.

10. The Nightmare Before Christmas

If you’re as confused about Christmas as Jack Skellington, this movie is for you! The Nightmare Before Christmas is all sorts of entertaining for the weekend ahead!
