The Product That Makes Farozan Look Lit!
Raise your hands if you just can’t get yourself to do the whole contouring shebang on a daily basis! For lazy beauty fiends like myself, the whole strobing movement has been a blessing in disguise. A few swipes across my cheekbones, the centre of my nose, and cupid bow, followed by a quick blend, and I’m done! It’s the easiest beauty look to do when you’re rushing to head to work in the AM — the chances of you messing it up is quite low, so you’ll always be able to achieve that coveted lit-from-within GLOW!
While I do enjoy my monthly beauty splurge, I’m always on the look out for budget buys, like the Revlon Highlighting Palette. This tiny beauty is quite similar to the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick. Whereas the Bobbi bricks cost a cool Rs 3,000+, my humble Revlon Highlighting Palette clocks in at a modest Rs 950, it’s currently on discount on Nykaa, so talk about a steal!
The bronze gold palette consists of 5 slim rows of pigment in pale gold, rose, warm bronze, rose gold, and a copper-bronze. You can either swirl a fan brush and mix the shades to get a delicious sun-kissed post-vacay highlight, or you can separately pick out each hue with the help of a flat eyeshadow brush and use it as a shadow or bronzer. Trust me ladies, with this multi-utility palette, you’re spoilt for choice. Although the pigments of the Revlon Highlighting Palette aren’t as foiled as their Bobbi Brown counterpart, I feel like it offers a subdued look that I can easily wear on a daily basis. When swatched, you’ll notice that the pigment payoff is moderate and I find that it usually lasts for an entire work day.
So go ahead and give this budget beauty steal a try, and jump on to the strobing bandwagon!
