The Minimalist Watch That Zahra Has Her Heart Set On
If you’re a social media addict — especially one who loves stalking street style stars, bloggers, and fashionistas on Instagram — you’re bound to have come across the watch brand MVMT. The American brand has quite a large, loyal, and engaged fan base on its various social media platforms, primarily because it started out as a crowdfunded brand (it became the highest-funded campaign on Indigogo in 2013) and went on to become the go-to accessory on the arms of online influencers everywhere shortly thereafter.
So naturally, I’ve been spotting it all over my Instagram and Pinterest feeds. So much so, that I’m now feeling kinda FOMO about not having one of their classic-style-meets-modern-design watches on my wrists. The power of social media, I tell ya! But wait, I’m not inclined to buy a watch just because everyone else seems to have it. I LOVE the minimalist designs, premium look and feel, and commitment to using high-quality materials, all at a pretty accessible price point. And who doesn’t love a fashion forward product that doesn’t break the bank?
The piece I have my heart set on is from the Boulevard series, and is aptly called Sunset. Showcasing a large 38MM pearl dial in a brushed rose gold stainless steel case and strap, the impossibly chic and minimalist watch looks like the perfect wrist accessory for me. Especially since I’m having a serious love affair with all things rose gold right now. Trust me when I say this: MVMT’s fresh designs are simple yet make a statement and will appeal to your inner hipster. What’s more, you have the option to interchange the straps with leather ones or other metal straps at an additional cost. Now that’s what I call versatile.
Ultimately, it all comes down to great style and simplicity, and this MVMT watch has both in spades.
