Crop tops are my go-to piece of clothing for the summer, but not if my abs aren’t in shape. Working on the core muscles are the toughest part of any workout routine, and of course you need some time and patience to see the results come through. But these 5 exercises for a flat tummy will help you do just that.
The first time I met Hannah Sim and saw her abs all over Instagram, I was determined to get fit and amp up my workout game. This routine consists of:
- 5 exercises
- 10 reps on each side
These exercises are broken down into beginner and advanced versions, so aim to do whichever one you are comfortable with. Your goal is to do 3 rounds of the following exercises.
1. Beginner: Reverse Plank Knee Raise
Advanced: Reverse Plank Leg Raise
2. Beginner: Palm Plank With Lower Leg Tuck
Advanced: Palm Plank With Lower Leg Tuck and Kick
3. Beginner: Side Plank Leg Raise
Advanced: Side Plank Two-Way Leg Raise
4. Beginner: Plank To Push Up
Advanced: Plank To Push Up With Climbers
5. Beginner: Palm To Shoulder Sit Through
Advanced: Palm to Shoulder Kick Through
