Cardiovascular activities, most definitely, seem to be the worst part of any workout. But ignoring your cardio routine is definitely not an option if you want to drop those pounds. So the best way to go about it, is to make it fun! Sure, running around the block is one of the easiest forms of cardio, but also one of the most boring. Here are 10 awesome cardio workouts to try instead that score high on the fun meter!

1. Jump Rope

This cardio exercise can be done anywhere, anytime and all you need is a jump rope! It gives you a total body workout and leaves you feeling happy and energised.

2. Cycling

If you didn’t learn how to ride a cycle when you were 5, then it’s about time you did now! Cycling is one of my favourite ways to explore a city and get a cardio workout in while I’m at it.

3. Hula Hoop

Shake that booty with a hula hoop! The hula hoop isn’t just for 8-year-old girls. It helps work out your abs and hips, and the best part is you can do it while watching TV!

4. Running Up The Stairs

Whether it is at home or at work, run up and down the stairs to break a sweat and get your quick fix of cardio.

5. Jumping Jacks

Jumping jacks are extremely fun, and can make you feel like a kid again. Throwing your arms and legs in the air has to be a blast, no?

10. Power Walking

Power walking is totally do-able during your commute to work. You can even fit in this cardio routine while you’re busy chatting on the phone.
