Taapsee Pannu Wore A Tie With Her Abraham & Thakore Saree
Taapsee Pannu is busy promoting her upcoming film Mulk, and while she is at it, she has picked classic sarees as the key ingredient of her promotional wardrobe. She is also seen styling the saree in new and innovative ways. Thumbs up for that!
She kicked off the promotions in a white, cotton, Suparna Som saree and wore a cotton kimono style jacket over it. Followed by this look, she was seen wearing a cotton saree by Soutache by Gaurika Sharma. The saree was a hand-embroidered floral linen saree with a dotted ruffle border, teamed with a pintuck blouse.
In another look, she tied a belt around her printed Punit Balana saree to give it that edge. For the special screening of Mulk, she wore an Anjali Jani, old rose and slate silk linen hand block printed saree, with a dupion jacket.
While at her latest promotional event, Taapsee was photographed in a striped Abraham & Thakore saree. The striped saree had a matching shirt style blouse. She accessorised the blouse with a slim red tie. Wearing her hair back, she rounded the look with a bindi.
Though the tie worked when presented on the runway, off the runway it looked awkward. We wish she would have worn the pallu down and ditched the tie.
