Sonam Kapoor Shows Us How To Wear Culottes The Desi Way
The Veere Di Wedding girls, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania are out and about promoting the movie, and while they are at it, these stylish ladies are slaying the fashion game. In a latest promotional appearance, all the four ladies were seen dressed in desi outfits.
For the same, Sonam was seen wearing a pretty lavender, cotton kurta paired with a matching dupatta and a pair of culottes from Good Earth. Sonam styled the look with a pair of statement kundan and pearl earrings and a few simple bangles from Anmol Jewellers, along with a pair of silver juttis from Fizzy Goblet. A fresh face of makeup, hair worn in a half up half down do, and a simple bindi rounded her look.
The look is breezy and simple, and Sonam carried it off with grace and elegance. Nevertheless, we do feel the length of the culottes with the long oversized kurta was a tad too short, which ended up looking just a bit awkward. However, we do like the look enough to give the awkward length a pass. Also, pairing your culottes with a kurta is a smart way to wear your desi clothes for the monsoons! The length is just right.
