Simi’s Steals: The Perfect Outfit For A Lazy Day
One universal fashion problem for most girls is, “What do I wear today?” This question has the power to reduce us to a hysterical mess. Fashionista or not, nobody wants sartorial answers that cost a fortune. And let’s just be honest, you’re THE style star if you know how to dress to the nines on a budget. So I’ve taken up this Herculean task: Every Saturday, I’ll round up a budget-friendly ensemble for you, all BELOW Rs 3,000. Yes! It’s going to be an entire outfit — from head-to-toe — without breaking the bank. Quite a challenge, right? Scroll down to shop this budget ensemble, and don’t forget to come back every Saturday to discover an outfit that’s yet another steal!
You know those days when your mind and body are in sync and they shout out slogans such as, “Only PJs! No bras!” We all know those days so well. And just when you’re cosy enough to turn into a human version of Garfield, you get a buzz from that good ol’ friend you’ve been dying to meet. “We’re catching up in an hour! See you soon!” Sigh. As always, when the mind and body are in tandem, the heart has to rebel. And that’s the time when you ought to scout your wardrobe’s lazy shelf. You know the one in which you’ve already paired ensembles just so you look like you haven’t really made an effort to dress up.
There’re two important rules to be lazy chic: 1. Comfort is key, 2. Basics are important. This time around, my lazy day chic is about an A-line dress from Zara. It is a cotton number with minimal flare and is in one of my most favourite hues, burnt orange. I’ve teamed it up with a cross-body bag from Mango (also, just a reminder, Mango’s got their mid-season sale right now if you haven’t noticed!). A pair of cross-strap flats in black complete the look. There you go, step out as your chic self; you’re in top-to-toe high-street without spending anything more than Rs 3,000!
