Sidharth Malhotra Unveiled Nikhil Thampi’s Debut Fashion Film

A monochrome palette, sharp silhouettes and sleek cuts with edgy details, these design elements are synonymous with Nikhil Thampi. The designer has dressed the best in Bollywood, and has now added another feather to his illustrious and glorious cap. Thampi’s next collaboration is an exciting collaboration with ‘Belvedere Studio B’.

Nikhil got his creative juices flowing, as he was to put together 2 fashion films, along with creative geniuses Lekha Washington, who is an actor and artist, and DJ duo Lost Stories. The films were curated and presented by Sidharth Malhotra at a party held in Mumbai.

The launch event for the fashion films was held on 23rd March 2018 in Mumbai. At the launch event, Sidharth Malhotra looked charming as always in a Nikhil Thampi midnight blue blazer with metal staple embellishments.

Speaking about working with Sidharth Malhotra, Nikhil Thampi said, “It’s been an absolute delight to work with Sidharth on this collaboration, he was not only encouraging but also was super supportive and made this association a memory to cherish.”

Other than Sidharth Malhotra, the glitzy event was also graced by supermodel Dayana Erappa, who was ready to party in her one-shoulder crop top, with shoulder pad details and textured slit palazzo pants.

Befikre actress, Vaani Kapoor also attended the event and showed solidarity towards the designer, wearing one of his creations. Vaani looked sharp in a sleeveless blazer, which has an asymmetrical hem and paired it with palazzo pant that has sequin textured details on one side.

Actress Athiya Shetty and Nimrat Kaur were seen enjoying this event as well. The fashion film unveiled was inspired by rye, water and character, which are the key ingredients of Belvedere’s spirits.

The movie is exquisitely shot and high on glam. It showcases model’s dressed in gold sequin outfits inspired by rye and silver metallic outfits inspired by water. Here is a look at a teaser from the movie:
