Prachi Desai Just Pulled Off Two Summer Trends Effortlessly!
I don’t really gauge a celebrity’s fashion prowess by the trends they try. If they can look chic and carry off an ensemble with ease, it doesn’t matter if what they’re wearing is in vogue or not. That said, there are a few celebrities who work runway trends effortlessly; it only goes to prove that their stylists have put a good amount of thought into curating their looks.
At times, some of these sartorial stars give us leads to follow, working more than one trend in a single ensemble, and proving that some fashion moves are for those who dare. Remember when Deepika Padukone rocked three trends effortlessly? This time, Prachi Desai just schooled us on how to work two summer 2016 trends with ease: Ruffles and accordion-pleats.
I love the top-to-toe girly detailing throughout this ensemble, be it the structured ruffles on the top, the candy coloured patterns on the accordion pleat skirt or the orange heels, it’s all on fleek. Wearing a frilled bustier top from Zara, a patterned maxi skirt from H&M, heels from Steve Madden and accessories from Pipa + Bella, Prachi works this entirely high street ensemble with such adorable girl-next-door vibes.
Not to forget, that is quite a celebrity-approved summer look — the breezy outfit sans makeup and the curled bob — such a WIN! And before I forget, I’ve got to mention that I’m all praise for Sanjana Batra. The stylist has pulled off some exceptional client stats so far: Parineeti Chopra and now Prachi Desai.
