Malaika Arora Stood Out In This Stunning Diwali Ensemble

 

When ever we’re discussing celebrity style at Hauterfly HQ — which is pretty much everyday! — a constant muse for impeccable style is Malaika Arora Khan (also, to look THAT stunning post 40 = #LifeGoals). This dancer/actress never fails to impress — be it her fashion forward airport style or her glamorous red carpet appearances. From her clothes and accessories right down to the hair and make-up, her fashion nous is always on point. Her ethnic looks are not far from perfection either. Recently spotted at two back-to-back Diwali parties in Mumbai, she gave us a stunningly simple look that was supremely elegant.

Wearing a luxurious mashru lehenga by Raw Mango designer Sanjay Garg in a muted jewel tone, Malaika’s outfit stood out in a sea of similar-looking traditional outfits. What I particularly loved about her look was how she worked a contemporary silhouette for Diwali, draping the rich dupatta elegantly over her shoulders like it was done on the ramp. The addition of a polki necklace by Maheep Kapoor finished off the regal look perfectly. I must say that her stylist Maneka Harisinghani rarely gets it wrong when it comes to Malaika.

As for her beauty look, centre-parted hair was neatly gathered in a low bun to channel a vintage vibe. Her eyes were the only dramatic element, with a dewy pink blush and pretty pink lips keeping the rest of her make-up simple. Instant love!
