#HauteStreets: What To Expect From The Fashion-Forward City Of Shillong

Nestled amidst the undulating peaks of the East Khasi Hills, Shillong is a beautiful hill station that is brimming with talent, and people there love to dress up. With music having a heavy influence on the city’s style, #HauteStreets decided to make its next stop in the ‘Scotland of the East’.

Known for its artistic inclination and a plethora of indie music bands, it comes as no surprise that Shillong has been conferred with the tag of India’s Rock capital, and the style of the city justifies this tag.

Join us as our host Scherezade Shroff Talwar explores the streets of Shillong, and meets with stylist and makeup artist, Lee Middleton along with model Jessica Ruth Cunville to talk about how music influences the everyday style in the city.

We also got the Tetseo Sisters, the musical rockstars of Nagaland, to give us their take on North East style, while  fashion designer Daniel Syiem throws light on how fashion has evolved here over the years.
