We’re in that time of the year when there’s still a slight nip in the air, and temperatures in your office still demand that you pull out a cozy knit to keep you warm. In such times, the need of the hour is transitional clothing. You know, the kind that’ll keep you warm but still let you stay cool.

At an event some weeks ago, Sonam Kapoor worked one such transitional outfit to perfection. Keeping to the fall colour scheme of greys, Sonam teamed a knit skirt with a round neck jumper with additional sleeve detailing, both from Sandro Paris. The skirt and the jumper combination is a match made in heaven. No matter what the style, if you accessorise the cosy knit and skirt pairing right, you’re bound to be a stunner. What I like about Sonam’s attire is that the detailing on the jumper gives it the effect of another jumper tied at the waist. At one go, it’s hard to perceive this is a skirt and jumper combination; it looks more like a dress. The actress completed her look with boots from Stuart Weitzman.

Like how she’s teamed up the jumper with the skirt? Keep scrolling to shop it:

While I couldn’t find a jumper at a lower price point that had the exact same look as the Sandro one, my online sleuthing did pay well. I came across this bow knitted dress at high street brand Mango. And guess what: It gives the exact same effect in dress form. I particularly like the side slit of this dress. It’s pretty chic and a perfect transitional garment.
