Yes! This Lustworthy Bag Has An Affordable Lookalike
In the world of bags, there are always those statement pieces that reign. From the Mulberry Bayswater to the Hermès Constance or the Givenchy Antigona (swoons), iconic bags are here to stay. And for a long time I hope (so I can save up the moolah to splurge on these beauties). Nonetheless, till that very moment, I’ll keep my sleuthing glasses on and look out for high-street alternatives for such bags. Because you know, a girl needs to fill that void of not owning the bags she loves. And if this is the only way to help, so be it!
That said, I love the Fendi 3Jours range of bags. There’s no doubt it is a classic; if you’ve taken to street shopping seriously, you’ll notice this bag is quite an inspiration. With a trapeze-like silhouette, the Fendi 3Jour bags range from shoppers, satchels and even totes (all in leather), and is accented with a hand tag and of course as well as the brand’s signature detailing on it. Not to mention, it is a pretty mod design and can be rightfully categorised as an IT-bag.
My choice is a Fendi ‘Petit 3Jours’ Leather Shopper in a powder blue (my current go-to bag is the same colour, and I’m crushing on this hue). Apart from the colour, this leather bag is also quite ladylike; just perfect to tote around as arm candy.
With yet another sigh (and a wish that I own this gorgeous soon), I must say that I managed to find a not-replica-but-similar bag for this one. Thanks to my daily scrolls to check what’s new in the high-street brand circuit, I came across this affordable look alike of the Fendi shopper at Zara. In a milder blue, this Zara bag is exactly the same shape, and comes with a single handle as well as a detachable shoulder strap (just like the Fendi). The only difference apart from it being a milder blue is that the Zara bag is equipped with a metal clasp buckle unlike the Fendi one, which comes with a top zip closure. But keeping that minor glitch aside, I’d say given the price point, this Zara City bag is a great buy.
