We’ve Got ALL The Info On H&M’s Hottest New Collab!

By  |

After rocking the fashion world with capsule collections with the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Balmain, Alexander Wang, Kenzo and Lanvin, H&M is once again bridging the gap between high street fashion and designer wear. We’re not exaggerating, but this is undoubtedly the haute-est collab everyone and their grandma will be talking about this year. Yup, we’re talking about the newly announced Erdem x H&M collab and yes, it’s probably going to rock your world. Sorry, not sorry.

Allow us to fangirl, while we breathlessly type out *all* the details. Erdem Moralıoğlu, the Canadian-born, London-based designer of Turkish descent will create a custom collection that’ll feature womenswear AND menswear! Expect a collection full of beauty, whimsy and rich details. For Erdem x H&M, the designer will reflect and reinterpret the design themes from some of his most celebrated collections playing with prints, textiles and delicate craftsmanship.

“I am so happy to collaborate with H&M, and to explore my work on a whole new scale, including a menswear, collection which I have never done before,” Moralioglu said in a press release.

The Erdem x H&M collection will definitely be coming to India (YEAY!), albeit at select stores (BOO!)  and will be available in stores from November 2, 2017.

We’re most excited by the fact that this year, Baz Luhrmann will be “bring[ing] the collection to life through his unique storytelling.” I mean, we’re still not over the breathtaking, visual exuberance of Great Gatsby! Take a look at the teaser film, we’re stumped!

Watch this space for more updates, because you know that we’ll be sharing them with you, hot off the press.
