You HAVE TO See Claire Danes’ Glowing Cinderella Dress From MET 2016!
Earlier today, Hauterfly’s editors were having a fun time scrolling through all the outfits spotted at the MET Gala 2016 red carpet — basically, the Oscars of the fashion world — when suddenly, I heard a series of exclamations like “Ooooh!” “That’s AMAZING!” “How is that happening?!” from all the women huddled together in front of a laptop screen. I turned around to see and there she was — Homeland star Claire Danes waltzing into view wearing a magnificent gown straight out of a Disney movie!
The actress was no doubt channeling a modern-day Cinderella, glowing brightly in her powder blue Zac Posen gown. The strapless, structured, custom-made organza dress had fibre optics woven directly into the fabric, giving it that ethereal, otherworldly glow. Perfectly in sync with the gala’s theme, Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology. Her look was completed with elegantly swept-up hair teamed with glowing, minimal makeup and a ruby red pout. But THAT DRESS — it’s all anyone could talk about!
