Blogger Chiara Ferragni’s Wedding Is Straight Out Of A Fairy Tale!

Popularly known as “The Blonde Salad”, Chiara Ferragni is an internet celebrity with over 14 million followers. In September 2017, Ferragni was ranked first in the Forbes list of the most powerful fashion influencers. So, when the super-blogger decided to tie the knot over the weekend, it was a big deal and the entire fashion industry was watching!

Chiara married her Italian singer boyfriend (and X-Factor Italia judge), Fedez Leonardo Lucia in one of the most extravagant ceremonies we’ve ever seen.

Three days before the wedding, friends and families were flown down to Sicily in a private plane, and were greeted with mascots of the couple.

For the rehearsal dinner, Chiara dressed in a beautiful custom-made Prada look. It was a made-to-measure cocktail dress gifted to her by Miuccia Prada. The pink gazar gown had a white organza overlay, which was embellished all over with transparent crystals and sequins. The look had a plunging V-neck on the front and back. A silver and peach satin chainmail bag, and peach satin shoes completed her look.

The next day, the couple stood under a canopy of white roses, hydrangeas and greenery to exchange vows, and say I do. The groom was dressed in a custom Valentino tuxedo.

Chiara, on the other hand, wore a custom Dior gown. The exquisite gown’s journey began a year ago; it was a high-necked Grace Kelly–inspired, long-sleeved dress featuring a lace romper designed by Dior creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri.

She styled the look with minimal makeup, feathered brows, highlight on the high points of her face, a frosty shadow on her lids, nude matte lips and mascara. A traditional and dramatic tulle veil rounded her look.

The most important guest at the wedding was the couple’s five-month-old son, Leone, who looked adorable in Baby Dior. The bridesmaids were all dressed in custom pink Alberta Ferretti dresses.

For the reception after the wedding ceremony, Chiara later changed into a Dior evening dress inspired by Chiuri’s first collection (SS17) for the French brand. The collection was wildly popular and worn by Chiara several times. This custom Dior look had some of the lyrics of her husband’s songs embroidered on it. The bride also wore a pair of white heels embalmed with ‘J’adior’ on one side and ‘Chiara’ on the other. She wore the same hair and makeup as her wedding ceremony for the reception party.

The reception was held in an indoor space where the ceiling was decorated with fairy lights twinkling like many stars. The couple’s entry song was also A Sky Full Of Stars. The couple cut their wedding cake, surrounded by hundreds of fairy lights and gorgeous fireworks!

Later, the party venue was transformed into a fun fair where there was a ferris wheel, carousel and live music. For the fun fair party, Chiara ditched the full-length skirt and wore a mini tutu skirt paired with ballet flats, so she could dance the night away. Not only is Chiara stylish, but she is also a very practical bride.
