These 6 Celebrities Have AMAZING Airport Style!

At Hauterfly, we admire women with great style — be it off-duty, on-duty or at airport terminals. I’ll be honest, some of the best celebrity looks are spotted when Bollywood celebrities are off vacationing or ready to hop on a plane. But among the many well-dressed ladies of B-Town, names like Sonam Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Esha Gupta, Jacqueline Fernandez and Kangana Ranaut have consistently given us top-notch airport style looks.

And no, it’s not just because they have access to and work the best of brands with ease. These fierce ladies add so much character to regular ensembles, that too while making a run between airport terminals, that it’s nothing short of commendable!

1. Sonam Kapoor

When you’ve got to turn to comfortable yet chic options for your travel style inspiration, Sonam Kapoor is your go-to stylista. The actress usually opts for breezy and asymmetrical options for her en route ensembles. Take for instance the monochrome Bodice outfit (where she made a great case for layering) that she paired with heeled Oxfords and a tan Hermès Kelly bag. In another look, Sonam opted for earthy tones with a silk maxi from P.E.L.L.A., and a cape, teamed with tan sandals. Not one to shy away from menswear-inspired clothing, she paired a “borrowed from the boys” Anuj Bhutani men’s jacket effortlessly with a white button-down shirt, black jeans, and boots.

Style Takeaway: Notice that her travel style mantra is always comfortable footwear.

2. Deepika Padukone

There’s no doubt that Deepika Padukone is a bonafide fashionista, and she’s got a style graph like no other. Her on-duty looks are ones we’re in awe of, but her off-duty ones are nothing short of glamourous either. Deepika’s recent all-black-everything look set temperatures soaring. Leather pants with a black tank top, sleeveless gilet, thigh-high boots, and a Chanel Deauville tote — could she get any hotter? Last fall, she made us stop and stare (for a while, mind you) with a stunning layered look: a tank top from The Row, tartan shirt and red jacket from Maje, Zara denims, Dune boots, Saint Laurent bag and Dior sunglasses. Then again, in yet another fashionable move, Deepika wore a white high-low shirt dress from Chola with black knee-high boots and lugged a black bag.

Style Takeaway: This is how you look like a glamorous movie star, even off-duty!

3. Esha Gupta

Comfortable doesn’t always have to mean non-girly, and that’s what Esha Gupta’s airport style teaches us. More than once we’ve seen her donning ultra feminine looks at the airport, and she literally makes us go WOW. Whether it’s by showcasing some flower power in a floral Zara dress teamed with brown loafers and a Zara shoulder bag, or working a jumpsuit by Lola By Suman B, again teamed up with the Zara bag. She’s also been dressed casually: in a Pull & Bear ‘Let Me Ask My Mom First’ jumper that she worked so well with a pair of checked pants and black booties, along with a nude Tod’s Wave Bag.

Style Takeaway: Pay heed to your bag. It doesn’t just hold all your essentials but also elevates your ensemble.

4. Alia Bhatt

If there’s anyone who best works a casual “I don’t care” look at the airport, it’s Alia Bhatt. Nonetheless, there’s no denying that she’s always well put-together. Working the military trend, she wore a Zara patch jacket with a slouchy slogan tee, distressed cropped denims, and white sneakers. In another cute look, Alia teamed a printed dress from Maoklee with a pair of creepers. Quite an adorable look that was! She’s also been seen pairing a boho top with ripped jeans, a red gilet, and lace-up shoes. I like that she works looks that one can easily find in one’s wardrobe.

Style Takeaway: Stylish sneakers make for the best travel shoes.

5. Kangana Ranaut

Whether at the airport or not, Kangana Ranaut is a diva and she’s always dressed to impress. It’s like she’s literally asking you, “Who said airport style has to be drab?” and then owning some seriously fab looks. Frankly, I am all for comfortable clothing while jet setting, but let’s give credit to those who put in a lot of thought to it, yes? Whether it’s a Sachin & Babi pant suit that she pairs with a slogan tee and black pumps; the Gucci ensemble with an exaggerated pussy-bow; or a Victoria Beckham blouse with a pencil skirt, Dior bag, and pink pumps; Kangana proves that power dressing is not just for the boardroom.

Style Takeaway: A stylish pair of black pumps will always help your quest for ladylike, subtle glamour.

Jacqueline Fernandez_Best Of Celebrity Airport Style_Hauterfly

6. Jacqueline Fernandez

Giving us a variation in style moods from feminine to girly and even tom-boyish, Jacqueline Fernandez doles out a lesson that airport style need not be OTT in order to look great. You’ll more often than not see her donning really comfortable clothing; tees, shirts, denims. She works a denim maxi skirt with a white tank top, a scarf tied around her neck, a Céline Nano bag and silver slides just as easily as a Wildfox sweatshirt, black denims, black booties, and a Tod’s Wave bag. We’ve also seen her try the military-inspired trend wearing a jacket with a white tank top, black jeans, and hi-top trainers.

Style Takeaway: Aviators are a stylish girl’s best friend. They don’t just instantly perk up your face but also hide bleary red eyes from long-haul flights!
