India Couture Week ’17: Rohit Bal’s Mughal-Inspired Collection Will Take You Back In Time

Showcasing royalty, Rohit Bal’s collection at ICW’17 was inspired by the Mughals, and had a whole lot of regal to it!

Bal saw the collection as a manner through which he could revive the heritage costume pieces of the Mughals. Khush Posh was presented rather traditionally with classic embroidery, and yet with a contemporary twist.

Black, ivory, maroon, and olive took the runway by storm as the models sashayed down in heavily embroidered pieces with larger-than-life silhouettes.

Arjun Rampal walked down the ramp as the showstopper, looking classy, sophisticated, and downright hot!

Rich and elegant, the collection was the perfect ode to the lost art and tradition, and literally takes you on journey from past to present through the gorgeous pieces!
