The short video that showed him calling the shots practically went viral on Twitter, creating quite a ripple among his fans. When they discovered that their favourite khiladi has decided to take up direction, they went berserk! #AkshayBanaDirector started trending on Twitter and Tweeples were eager to know more details — whether he is directing a feature film or an ad; whether his wife would be a part of his debut or will it be some other heroine. Today, the secret has been revealed and this might hurt a little — Akshay Kumar is not going to direct anytime soon. (Ouch!) The video was a snippet of a longer video, which is indeed an ad for the brand Streax Insta Hair Colour. The TVC released on Wednesday, and you can watch it above.
This little rumour, though, does prove one thing — if the Rustom actor actually considers turning director, fans are going to welcome it with open arms. We’ll just have to wait and watch for that now, won’t we?
