This 2-In-1 Mask Will Treat All Your Hair And Skin Woes!

It always sounds good in theory, treating yourself to the best DIYs that nature has to offer! I mean, I’ve promised myself multiple times that I’m not going to bed without trying a DIY tooth whitening method, the next day a mask for my hair, and the next, a mask for my face.

Seldom do I ever follow through on these promises I make to myself. I mean, sure I’d love to wake up with gorgeous skin and hair, but sleep is kind of more important, right?

That’s why, I present to you the  2-in-1 hair and face mask to tackle all your beauty woes in one go. Why? Because, I get it, ain’t nobody got time for too much of that!

Here’s what you’ll need

Honey attracts and holds moisture in your skin and hair. It also works as an anti-inflammatory agent on your scalp and skin. No wonder, it’s the perfect addition to any mask. Start with 2 tablespoons of honey in a bowl.

2. Banana

Bananas have a high potassium content that make can help fight dry, damaged hair, and split ends. Its Vitamins B6 and C are great for discolouration on the skin and its antioxidant properties can keep your skin from the harm that comes with free radicals. Mash one small banana, or half a big banana, and add it to the mix.

3. Avocado

Like honey, avocado also locks in moisture. Its Vitamin E and essential fatty acids work wonders for your hair and skin. The Vitamin A provides gentle exfoliation to your scalp and skin, helping you get glowing skin and a clean scalp. Mash half an avocado and mix it in.

4. Almond Milk

Almond milk, or almond oil can also be used, because almonds are very rich in Vitamin E, helping you maintain young and firm skin. The Omega 6 promotes healthy skin and plenty of hair growth.

All the ingredients above also work well for both acne-prone and dry skin. This mask is perfect for sensitive hair and skin. Add 3 tablespoons of oil or milk to the mask.

How It Works

Apply the mask on your face, either in the night or in the morning. Leave it for about 20 minutes to an hour. For your hair, you can leave it overnight, wrap a towel and sleep.
