The 15 Best Red Carpet Beauty Looks Of 2017!
As the year comes to a close, we’ve been scrutinising film festivals and award shows for the most stunning beauty looks that took our breath away. Sonam Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, all of Bollywood’s leading ladies are on our list. And since Bollywood and glamour go hand-in-hand, it’s only fitting that we show these women’s glam teams some love and appreciate the year in beauty.
So, prepare to be awed as we round up the best beauty red carpet looks of 2017.
1. Alia Bhatt
Alia wore voluminous, side-parted, wavy hair and a stained red lip to the IIFA 2017 press conference. Her skin had just a minimal base. The look was finished with bold brows and defined lashes. Hair is by Pompy Hans and makeup by Shraddha Naik.
Once again, we have the same team on hair and makeup for Alia Bhatt. This look, consisting of a berry-hued smoky eye, strong contour and nude lip was for the main IIFA Awards show.
2. Kangana Ranaut
Kangana looks gorgeous in this retro-inspired look for the Jio MAMI festival. Her hair is by Brendon Degee and makeup by Divya Naik. We love the glossy lips and lids.
Here, we have Kangana for the Reebok Fit To Fight Awards. Divya Naik is on makeup and Loveleen Ramchandani on hair. This is, yet another, retro-inspired look, which Kangana seems to pull off with panache!
3. Esha Gupta
Esha Gupta steals the show with super sleek hair and dewy makeup by Billy Manik and her team. The focus is all on Esha’s eyes. She wore this look for the Hindustan Times Most Stylish Awards.
Esha Gupta attended the BMW launch, wearing shimmer lids and a full pout with textured hair. Seema worked on the hair, while Harry Rajput did her makeup. And can we just say, those falsies are seamless!
4. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
We don’t see Ash out and about as often anymore, so when we catch a glimpse of her… it’s a mini celebration! These textured waves, gorgeous lashes, and the red lip make for the perfect combination. Her look is courtesy the legend himself, Mickey Contractor.
5. Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline Fernandez slayed the game in the yellow ensemble. Her hair and makeup were just as bright and cute, perfectly complimenting her look. Shaan Muttathil, her go-to MUA, worked on her hair and makeup for the FICCI Frames red carpet.
Once again, we have Shaan on hair and makeup. This look was for the Filmfare Awards 2017 red carpet. Jacqueline is rocking matte pink lips, and bold winged liner.
6. Disha Patani
A pretty lob, neutral pink lips, and a red and black smokey, Disha Patani attended the Big Zee Awards in this ultra chic look. Marco Pedrozo and Nidhi Jeswani worked on the hair and makeup.
7. Katrina Kaif
Florian Hurel and Daniel Bauer always create magic together. Katrina Kaif’s stunning look is a subtle glossy lip, perfect brows, a light shimmer on the lids, and seamlessly blended contour. There isn’t a girl in this world who wouldn’t look great in this look.
8. Bhumi Pednekar

Holy wow! Bhumi looks like a million bucks in this straight, but messy ponytail, rose pink lids, and siren, red lips. If that ain’t a movie star, I don’t know what is. Billy Manik and her team worked on hair and makeup.
9. Deepika Padukone
Daniel Bauer says it right. Shimmer pigments are everything and he went big with them. The pinned back hair and black shimmer lids make a major statement against the red dress. And we love that she went with a kohl-rimmed eye at the London Premier of XXX: Return Of Xander Cage.
For the Cannes Film Festival 2017, Deepika wore an emerald green gown and eyes to match. Needless to say, her first stint in Cannes was a hit! Her makeup was done by some of L’Oréal’s best makeup artists, throughout the week.
And finally, we have Deepika at the GQ Fashion Nights in makeup by Sandha Shekar and hair by Yiannit Sapatori.
10. Shilpa Shetty Kundra
Shilpa Shetty stole my heart in this burgundy eye makeup look. It’s like the look was made for her big, beautiful eyes. Her lips and face are kept to a bare minimum, letting her eyes do all talking. Mehak Oberoi created this lovely look.
11. Sonakshi Sinha
Sonakshi Sinha wore gorgeous, pink eyeshadow with vintage waves. Makeup is by Mehak Oberoi and hair is by Madhurina Khale. Hands down, one of her best looks ever!
12. Kareena Kapoor Khan
Post-delivery, this woman is back at it! She looked like EVERYTHING at the Filmfare Style & Glamour Awards. And why wouldn’t she? Her hair and makeup is by Mickey Contractor.
Then, we have her again, last night at the Lux Golden Rose Awards. Her hair is by Hiral Bhatia (don’t miss that exquisite detailing), and makeup by Subbu.
13. Sonam Kapoor

You thought we forgot her, did you? Not in a million years! No best dressed, best style, or best makeup list is complete without her. Remember this beautiful sunset eyeshadow that Namrata Soni created at the Cannes Film Festival? The hair is by L’Oréal artist, Stephane Lancien.
Then, we have her in this powerful look for the VOGUE Beauty Awards 2017. This is unforgettable. If I could give her an award for being gorgeous and confident, I truly would!
And lastly, we have this golden princess look from the Filmfare Style & Glamour awards. The makeup is by Subbu and hair by Hiral Bhatia.
14. Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra’s makeup is by Pati Dubroff and hair by Danilo for the Emmys 2017. And she truly does look like fine wine, doesn’t she?
For the world premier of Baywatch, Priyanka wore eyeshadow that reminded us of the sea… and it matched with her dress! Makeup is by Pati Dubroff and hair by Lacy Redway.
