Get Sonal Chauhan’s Berry-Stained Eye & Lip Look

From the few celebrities that have already taken the ramp by storm for Lakmé Fashion Week Winter / Festive 2017, Sonal Chauhan’s look for Rara Avis has to be one of my favorites.

I mean, Game Of Thrones vibes, anyone? Sonal looks like a KWEEN ready to conquer, but her outfit isn’t the only feature that’s slaying this look. Let’s take a closer look at her makeup.

She’s wearing berry-stained lips, kind of like she just had a glass of wine or bit into a colourful berry. Her eyes also display berry shades in a smokey contrast.

Love the Sonal’s look? We broke it down for you…

Maybelline New York The Blushed Nudes (Rs 899)

1. The Eyes

First, apply a wash of light pink all over your lids and crease. Then, go in with a deep plum on the outer corner of your eyes, blend it out for a smokey effect. Apply the darker pink from the inner corner to the middle of your lids. Bring this pink down and apply it under your lower lash line to complete the look.

Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Mascara (Rs 525)

2. Lashes

Add volume and length to your lashes with mascara for a doe-eyed look.

Innisfree Auto Eyebrow Pencil (Rs 400)

3. Eyebrows

This eyebrow pencil comes in a thin, angled shape. It’s perfect to fill in little tiny hairs and add shape to your brows. The full brow look will complement your eyes.

PAC Lip Pencil in Mauve (Rs 180)

4. Lip Base

Apply a mauve, pink-nude shade lip pencil all over your lips. Define your lips well with the pencil and then fill them in. Your lips should look somewhat close to a natural lip colour.

L’Oreal Paris Tint Caresse – B08 Plum Blossom (Rs 1,050)

5. Lip Stain

Apply a plum lip tint, that’s matte, onto the center of your lips. Start with the bottom lip and then apply an even smaller amount on your top lip. Use your fingers to dab the product into place as it spreads. It should, mainly, remain around the center of your lips.  Don’t bite in your lips or roll your lips around, this will spread the product all over your lips and that will ruin the look.
