Shraddha’s Preppy Makeup & Updo Are Just What You Need For Prom
I think it’s a grievous offense when you have a pretty face and gorgeous hair and still don’t make any attempts to experiment with different styles in hair and make-up. I mean you have one life, why would you waste it wearing the same old make-up and hairstyle? There’s no doubt that Shraddha Kapoor is extremely pretty, but I’ve gotten a tad bored of seeing her with the same old side-parted hair that’s curled at the ends and worn down; that and the next-to-no-make-up look. You can only imagine my joy when she stepped out to promote her new movie Baaghi looking fly in really pretty shimmery eye make-up and a dressy updo! Come see:
This make-up is so gorgeous and versatile, I don’t think there’s anyone who can’t carry of that shimmery goodness. Here’s a step-by-step on how you can get the look:
Prep: No amount of make-up can cover up dry, flaky, dehydrated, lackluster skin. Moisturising your skin is one step you just can’t overlook. Use The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser all over your face and neck.
Base: Shraddha’s base make-up is really light almost as if she’s not wearing any make-up. Apply Revlon Photo Ready Air Brush Effect Make Up with the Natio Foundation Brush. Use the Inglot AMC Cream Concealer under the eyes and for spot concealing. You can use the PAC Brush 346 for concealing. The short, dense bristles make blending easy.
Eyes: Mix the violet and deep brown from the Makeup Revolution 32 Eyeshadow Palette to make your own shade of a mauve brown. Apply this colour all over the eye lids. Use a light champagne colour in the centre of the eyelid to make your eyes pop. Line only the outer corners with Revlon Eye Pencil in Black, and then smudge it with a Q-tip. You don’t have to be very precise about lining your lashline since you are going to blend it anyway. Line both your waterlines with Colorbar I-Glide Eye Pencil in Cocobar and also line the outer corners of the lower lid using the same. Apply three coats of Christian Dior Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Waterproof Mascara in Over Black.
Lips: Apply Sugar Matte As Hell Crayon Lipstick in Holly Golightly and top this with Maybelline Color Sensational Lip Polish in the shade Glam 7.
