The Priyanka Chopra-Inspired Neutral Makeup That We Are Obsessing Over
We are already in the second half of 2016 but the neutral makeup trend seems to be showing no signs of going anywhere. And why should it when it is one of the easiest looks to recreate besides being THE most universally flattering looks. Last month makeup artist extraordinaire Mario Dedivanovic worked his magic on Priyanka Chopra when she was shooting for the cover of Flare and we are in love with the look.
PC being PC looks like a million bucks and obviously, being the makeup junkies that we are we want to cop her look too! And lifestyle blogger Marianna Hewitt who blogs at Life With Me has been an angel to recreate the look on her YouTube channel. Hewitt starts with her eyes, which is a smart thing to do if you tend to be a little messy with your eye makeup. That way it’s easier to clean the fall out without ruining your base makeup.
Hewitt also uses a foundation that’s way darker than her actual skin tone, but here’s why it works for her. Most of us are very particular about using sunscreen on our faces (you are, aren’t you?) but not as much on the limbs which means your face is generally fairer than the rest of you. So you need to pick up a foundation that doesn’t make your face look a different shade than the rest of your body (and technically, you should slather sunscreen on your neck, chest, décolleté and limbs).
