Zahra’s Bronzer Is The Next Best Thing To A Tropical Vacation
If you watch beauty videos on YouTube as much as I do, then you’re bound to be eyeing all the products that various international beauty bloggers use to create their makeup looks. And if you’re a pale-faced girl like me, you know you need a hint of colour by way of a blush or bronzer to give life to your complexion.
Trust me, Casper the friendly ghost is not a good look on anybody.
And while I usually never leave home without blending some Soleil Tan de Chanel on my cheeks and temples, that delectable cream bronzer doesn’t stand a chance in Mumbai’s blazing heat and humidity. I’ve realised now that it’s best used in cooler times of the year. I know I’ve said that I’ll never use a powder bronzer again, but I’m happy to eat my words thanks to this amazing discovery.
The product I’m talking about is the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer in Bronzer (it also comes in the shade Light Bronzer, but really, there’s very little difference). Created using skin-loving butters like Murumuru, Cupuacu, and Tucuma (all native to the Brazilian Amazon rainforest), this oil-free bronzer powder feels luxurious to touch, is super soft and creamy, and blends like a dream.
A medium brown with warm, yellow undertones, the Butter Bronzer creates a golden, satiny sheen that looks amazing on my skin. The pigmentation is just about right for me too — neither too dark, nor too light — and the finished look is a sun-kissed glow that makes my pale skin look warm and healthy. What’s more, it doesn’t emphasise my skin’s texture, and wears nicely for a good 6-8 hours. What’s not to love about that?
Also, how adorable is the packaging? It smells like a tropical beach vacation, and is hypoallergenic, cruelty-free, oil-free, and fragrance-free. Plus, that price is seriously hard to beat!
