The Coral Lipstick Bushra Wants To Wear All Summer

As a child, I was so envious of my mum. She could have an entire meal and her lipstick wouldn’t budge or fade; those were the days of creamy formulas. And there I was, struggling to keep my lipstick on for more than half an hour. It was a miracle if it didn’t leave that dreaded lipstick ring behind. But the thing that was most mortifying was my lipstick bleeding and staining the skin all around my mouth. The struggles of an adolescent blessed with supremely oily skin — that was my life. Those were dark days, people!

At the risk of sounding dramatic, there has been no looking back ever since. Needless to say, I have a matte lipstick in every shade that I love. But one that’s been missing for a while has been a nice bright coral.
