How To Make A Super Easy Braided Ponytail

How To Make A Super Easy Braided Ponytail

Like every new season, fall calls for a new hairstyle. While we all stuck to salty beach waves for the summer, fall is all about romantic braids and up-dos. So, I decided to combine two of my favourite styles — the basic ponytail and the braid.

Press play to see my version of a braided ponytail — it’s super easy to do!

It’s pretty basic — you start with Dutch braiding your hair down one side. Once you’ve gone all the way down, loosen it up a bit and tie it with an band. Now gather the rest of your hair with the braid and tie it all together into a simple ponytail. You can tie it at the back or bring it to the side, whatever floats your boat!

If you’re going out on a date, or just want to add a little something extra to your ponytail braid, take some baby’s-breath (they’re those tiny white bud-like flowers that are used to fill in a bouquet) and tuck them, piece by piece, into your braid. This way, the braid stands out and won’t get lost in your dark hair.
