Get The Look: 5 Celeb Makeup Looks From The Lux Golden Rose Awards

Now that we’ve judged, loved, and wow-ed over the plentiful fashion statements made at the Lux Golden Rose Awards 2016, it’s time to decode the beauty looks. I’ve picked 5 of our favourite makeup looks from the A-list red carpet. Here are the highlights of each look and how you can cop some celeb style.

1. Deepika Padukone

Her face is all about one statement — those siren, red lips. Deepika is channeling a little bit of old-world glamour with this classic beauty look. If you’re looking for that kind of richly-pigmented, true-blue red, look no further.

2. Anushka Sharma

Anushka’s look featured a subtle, brown smokey that put the focus on her eyes, minus the use of any liner. Brown smokeys a great way to accentuate your eyes, so if you’re opting for this look, try a neutral palette. Apply darker browns on the outer corner and crease of your eye, and blend it out with a fluffy shadow brush. As you move inwards, pick a copper, lighter colour.

3. Jacqueline Fernandez

There are two components to this makeup look that really stand out — a flawless strobe, and long, false lashes. Now, it takes practice to stick those false lashes on right, so make sure the night you plan to wear them isn’t your first time trying out a pair.

 

#HauteTip: Cut the lashes in 2, and cut extra length off the ends. This way, the lashes will be easier to apply. Plus, invest in a good lash glue.
