The Non-Greasy Oil That Works Wonders On Tatiana’s Waves

The Non-Greasy Oil That Works Wonders On Tatiana’s Waves

Let me just say it out loud that I do have pretty strange follicles. My scalp and roots tend to get greasy after a day or two of washing, while my ends remain as dry as a cactus in the desert. Now, I have an issue with applying any sort of oil on my scalp. I tend to break out around my hair and jawline post wash, so oil is a big NO NO for me. Finding an oil that sort of understands my confused scalp is so difficult… I mean, how can oil not be greasy? The L’Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil is a Rich Oil, but it surprisingly understands my lock’s needs. First of all, it is not as greasy or thick as you might think it is. It does have an oily texture, but that isn’t the case when it’s transferred to my hair. Consisting of argan oil, the Mythic Oil is a serum-like product and seems to be a perfect fit for my fussy hair.

L’Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil

So I have tried their entire Mythic Oil range and I must say that this was the only one that actually fit the bill for me. However, I do play smart and use it in a manner that works best for my confused hair. Applying it only on damp locks, I concentrate on conditioning the tips of my tresses rather than the roots, using only the residual product on the top of my head. I then use the tips of my fingers to massage the very last bits of the oil into the rest of my scalp. Trust me when I say that it acts like a post-shower serum and conditions my hair just like a normal oil would. Anti-grease oil, FTW.

Also, it comes in a pretty royal gold glass bottle that looks majestic on my shelf!
