Tatiana’s Lip Colour Is So Much More Than Her Basic Lipsticks!
Lip gloss, lip stain, lip stain, lip potion, lipstick — name it, and I’ve tried them all. But a powdered lip colour? Isn’t that a bit strange? The answer is not really and L’Oréal Paris’ Tint Caresse lip colour taught me why.
This little wand doesn’t look like your average lip colour; it’s got a lip gradation cushion at the end of it, which basically acts like an applicator, once it collects the product formula from the tube. Part of L’Oréal’s latest Cannes Collection 2017, this product comes in 8 different shades, all perfect for the summery weather.
My favourite (for once not a nude) has got to be the Plum Blossom shade, which is a deep red — the perfect swipe for an evening look. The colour payoff is great and is totally buildable with each stroke. This way you can be a lot more creative and create a dual-toned lip or even an ombré lip, if you’d like!
The product comes out as a semi sheer-like powder that can be smeared across your lips. The cushion controls the amount that comes through, allowing for easy control. This is one product that I found has minimal spillage around the corners of my lips, which really surprises me! Whenever I wear a bold colour, the initially swatch is always shaky and most of the times I have trouble staying within the lines.
It also comes infused with flower oils, so even though you are getting an almost matte finish, it won’t really dry out your lips. It also works great as a cheek tint or even as an eyeshadow.
Although the texture is powdery, it doesn’t transfer like you’d think it would. Secondly, it’s lightweight, even lighter than any mousse formula I have worn in the past.
This lip tint is something that is constantly in my bag at the moment, and guess what? I am giving my nudes a break thanks to this one.
