The Cream That Promises To Tame Bushra’s Monsoon Mane

The Cream That Promises To Tame Bushra’s Monsoon Mane

“You can’t control everything. Your hair was put on your head to remind you of that.” That is my life in a nutshell, especially in the monsoon. I have no clue how my wavy hair is going to react to the rains. Some days my hair’s a champ, my crowning glory, not letting me down; and on others it would put Medusa’s locks to shame leaving me in a pool of frustrated tears. While frizz is the bane of my existence, I’ve found some kickass anti-frizz products to manage that.

However, I still don’t know what to do to prevent my hair from looking like hay in this season. I love oiling my hair, but that’s only a once-a-week activity for my fine hair. I wouldn’t want to compound my hair woes by weighing it down with oils. I’ve been on a mission to find that elusive Holy Grail product that will sort out my issues ever since it started pouring, and hours of intense R&D brought me to the oil-in-cream formulas that seem to to be THE shizz right now!

L’Oréal Paris 6 Oil Nourish Oil-in-Cream

L’Oréal Paris 6 Oil Nourish Oil-in-Cream is an oil replacement cream infused with six nutritive oils. Argan strengthens your hair, olive softens it, almond makes it thicker, coconut makes hair manageable, jojoba adds shine, and camelina smoothens your hair. Besides smelling divine (a definite plus!), the cream is non-sticky and non-greasy. You can either use it as an overnight treatment for your scalp and the lengths of your hair, or use it as a leave-in conditioner after washing your hair. Because the cream is lightweight, it’s not suitable for winters when you’ll need a heavier, more moisturising product. But that just means it’s perfect for the rains!
