Get The Look: Parineeti Chopra’s Indigo Blue Liner Is The Bomb
While sister PC slays the international red carpets, Parineeti Chopra is hard at work, right here at home, promoting her upcoming movie Meri Pyaari Bindu. She stars opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in the film and they’ve been looking all sorts of adorable on their promotional round. Now, anyone who doesn’t live under a rock, knows this is, in large parts, due to celeb glam squads.
Parineeti’s makeup artist, Arti Nayar, has been creating some fun and flirty looks to match Parineeti’s playful promo outfits. Recently, the indigo blue liner (that was done more than once) caught my eye.
Crushing on the blue as much as we are? Here’s how you can get the look too.
Keep the base in this look to a minimum. It’s all about clean skin, letting the indigo blue liner really werrrk it! So, heavy eye makeup or not, apply a little concealer to your lids before drawing attention to that area.
#HauteTip: Just dot a little onto your lids and dab into the creases with your fingers. A non-creasing formula will do the trick.
Coloured liners are all the rage in the world of beauty! Even Alia Bhatt tried it during the promotions of Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Find a dark blue liner to get the look. A gel pot or liquid pencil will work best. If it’s a pot, use a thin liner brush to create your wing.
Create the flick outwards first, then line your lids thinly. The thinnest point should be the inner corner of your eye. Connect this line back to the tip of the flick that you drew out. Bring a little down around the outer part of the lower lash line. Don’t paint all the way in, just halfway.
Complement the look with voluminous lashes. Don’t forget to use a lash curler before you push upwards with your mascara wand and swiggle up and out. And coat the lower lashes too!
Don’t forget to define your brows. But remember not to go too heavy and create a boxy effect on the inner corner of your eyebrows. Brush with light strokes in the directions of the growth of your hair and clean with a Q-tip if your product goes above or below your brows.
