Ice, Ice Baby
Face icing or skin icing – i.e. massaging your face regularly with an ice cube – can do wonders for your complexion. The ideal time to ice your face is immediately after a hot shower, when pores are enlarged. Here’s how: take an ice cube from the freezer, wrap it in a handkerchief or fine face cloth, then glide all over your face and neck till it melts. The cold temperature helps to boost circulation, constrict pores and tighten facial muscles, invigorating your complexion beautifully. What’s more, some experts say it’s even helpful in keeping acne and wrinkles at bay.
For an additional dose of brightening, mix lemon or orange juice in water and freeze those into cubes instead. The antioxidant boost will rejuvenate your face naturally, leaving you with a healthy glow. No expensive make-up products required!
