Who doesn’t love glowing skin? But sometimes it’s a task to find the perfect face pack that will match your skin type. There are some ingredients that nourish your skin while others make it dull. Whether you have oily, dry, or sensitive skin, we’ve found face packs made from ingredients that will suit your skin type best. All you have to do is take a trip to the kitchen.

IF YOU HAVE OILY SKIN →

Face pack 01

1. Lemon & Milk Face Pack
Take three tablespoons of milk, and add one tablespoon of lemon juice to it. Sprinkle a pinch of turmeric on top and mix it all together. Apply the paste on your face and allow it to dry, then rinse it off with cold water.

Why this works: A pack rich in lactic acid from both lemon and milk will help to remove excess oil and lighten skin.

2. Banana & Oats Face Pack
Mash a banana in a bowl, and add one tablespoon of milk to it. Mix in 2-3 tablespoons of oats to form a paste. Apply it in a circular motion on your face, leave on for 10 minutes and then wash it off.

Why this works: Bananas are rich in potassium and antioxidants which help to heal blemishes and absorb excess oil from skin, while oatmeal is rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds that smooth and soothe skin.

IF YOU HAVE DRY SKIN →

Face pack 04

1. Yogurt, Rose & Honey Face Pack

Mix two teaspoons of honey in a bowl of yogurt and add two tablespoons of rose water to it. Toss in one small bowl of rose petals. Use a pestle to crush the petals and form a thick paste. Apply this pack on your face and neck. Wash it off after 10 minutes.

Why this works: Yogurt contains lactic acid and alpha-hydroxy acid that fight bacteria and gently exfoliate your skin, while roses are rich in antioxidants and vitamins like B and C that help to clear your skin and give it a glow.

2. Cocoa Powder & Honey Face Pack

Mix cocoa powder with a tinge of honey and add a tablespoon of milk. Put in a bit of besan to the mixture. Keep it on your face for about 15 minutes before washing it off with cold water.

Why this works: Rich in antioxidants, cocoa powder helps promote collagen production and adds radiance to otherwise dull skin. The combination of cocoa with milk and besan is unbeatable.

IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN →

Face pack 06

1. Almonds & Egg Face Pack

Soak 6-8 almonds in milk or water overnight. Grind them into a paste and add an egg to it. Put the paste on your face after mixing it well and wash it after 15 minutes.

Why it works: Almonds are a source of protein and magnesium that strengthen and protect the skin. Best for the brain and best for the skin!

Face pack 03

2. Oatmeal & Yogurt Face Pack

Mix two tablespoons of oatmeal and yogurt in a bowl. Apply it on your face and let it dry. This face pack can be messy, so you might want to head to the bathroom while you apply it. Wipe it off with a wet cloth and wash your face with cold water.

Why it works: As stated earlier, both oats and yogurt are excellent ingredients to nourish your skin. They exfoliate dead cells and makes your face glow.
