LFW 2016: Gorgeous Summery Eyeshadows At Pinakin

I’ve  always had a thing for bright eye make-up. If somebody has some kick-ass eye makeup going on, I can spot it from a mile away (I swear I’m not bragging). Pinakin’s show on Day 1 of Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2016 was ethereal. But what caught my eye were the beautiful eyeshadows on the models. I don’t know how you guys do it, but I just couldn’t look past the gorgeous resort hues. Here’s proof:

 

 

 

Red has been hailed as the hottest colour in makeup in 2016, and I’m glad about that because it’s one colour that looks beyond gorgeous on Indian skin tones. While the solid red that the models wore is not something everyone might feel comfortable sporting, you can definitely try shades like copper, for instance. Blue is a classic and has always been a summer favourite, while zesty lime green is such a fresh, young colour that I wonder why more people don’t wear it. What I really loved about this look was how well-balanced it was. The flesh-coloured pencil on the waterline and absolutely no eyeliner was a great idea.
