LFW 2016: Gorgeous Neutral Make-Up At The P.E.L.L.A Show

The first show of the day opened with P.E.L.L.A/ Swati & Sunaina/Swati Kalsi showcasing handwoven Indian textiles. These shows were prime examples of how clothes and hair and makeup should complement each other. This show was a lesson in how you balance out your entire look. The models wore neutral make-up to go with the theme, which was sustainable fashion and were perfectly in sync with the earthy colours of the fabrics (barring the ones in Swati & Sunaina’s show).

 

One simply cannot go wrong with gold eyeshadow with a mild sheen which is how the eyes were done up in the show. The gold shadow was expertly smoked out, and there’s only one word to describe the contouring – flawless! I liked the touch of neutral nude nail polishes that adorned the models’ nails. The elaborate, intricate-looking twisted low-dos that the models wore is just the way you should be wearing your hair for a summer wedding.
