#Cannes2016: Best Beauty Looks From Day 6
Seems like there was an unwritten rule for Day 6 of Cannes 2016 as far as makeup was concerned. Nude makeup was worn like a uniform. But like the rebel that she is, Kristen Stewart ignored the memo and wore attention-grabbing red eyeshadow on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet. Move over red lipstick, you are so last season. I wish more celebrities wore daring looks like these!
K-Stew does badass like nobody else. I mean who else can carry off a full-bodied red shadow like a boss? I’d be lying if I said I’ve seen this look off the ramp. Red eyeshadow can easily go wrong and end up looking like a bruise. However, Stewart’s makeup is perfection! Her dishevelled platinum blonde hair were styled in tousled waves to add to the grunge effect.
Kim K had her trademark smokey eyes and frosty nude lipstick on. However, she looked striking in the heavily kohled lower lashline that extended in a reverse winged-tip.
Loose tendrils seem to be the trend du jour at Cannes, and I’m not complaining. Why would I when the effect is this pretty? Bella Hadid wore her hair up and left a few wavy pieces around the hairline for a wind-swept vibe. She kept it simple in the makeup department with a basic black cat eye, nude lips, and lots of strobing.
Misha Barton wore an elegant updo with lots of teasing at the crown to add height. I loved the gold and bronze accents in her makeup.
Chanel Iman is a prime example on how to highlight like a pro. Also, heart the glossy brown lipstick.
It is easy to be intimidated by Adriana Lima’s piercing gaze. She kept things simple in a sleek, straight ponytail, black eyeliner, and fluttery eyelashes.
There is no doubt that Barbara Palvin’s beauty is elfin. Also, how pretty is her voluminous, teased ponytail? And those eyelashes that literally fan her brow bones? Love!
Milla Jovovich wore her short bob in messy waves. She looked good.
Ana de Armas
One of the few women to wear any colour, Ana de Armas looked striking in a bright red pout.
Adriana Ugarte had a really pretty braided hairstyle going. Her hair was tied into two Dutch braids that went all around her head. It looked like milkmaid braids.
Luma Grothe looked fresh-faced with her minimal make-up look. What I’d like to draw your attention to though is her lovely teal-coloured locks. The colour, the styling, everything about her tresses is Just. So. Cool.
Karlie Kloss’ hair had such a vintage 1960s vibe to it. Her hair was blow-dried and then teased at the crown to give major height and volume. A black ribbon tied in bow at the hairline added a cutesy effect to her look.
