#Cannes2016: Best Beauty Looks From Day 5

#Cannes2016: Best Beauty Looks From Day 5

While Day 4 of the Cannes Film Festival 2016 had some experimental looks, Day 5 was filled with cult classics. So we saw a lot of smokey eye goodness, red lipstick in various hues, soft, romantic updos, and lots of old-school glamorous waves.

Kate Moss

Kate Moss made an appearance at the prestigious red carpet after 15 years, and I must say she did not disappoint. The inimitable supermodel looked fierce in a teased top knot and smokey eyes. Ladies who have hooded eyes take note: this is how you do a cat eye that will flatter you. Opt for a soft warm brown eyeliner and keep the tips thin and sharp!

Kendall Jenner

While her makeup was again characteristic of the K-clan — neutral — what I really want to talk about is her beautiful hair. Can we take a minute to admire her voluminous, intensely teased high ponytail? So much fluffy gorgeousness!

Poppy Delevingne

Poppy Delevingne let her bright pout do all the talking! She paired her summery orange lipstick with shiny tear ducts, subtly winged-tip liner and fluttery lashes. Also, full marks for the insanely shiny centre-parted hair that she wore tucked behind her ears in loose curls.

Lottie Moss

Lottie Moss channeled old-Hollywood glamour when she wore her blonde locks in curls worn to the side. How striking is that intense smokey eye makeup and dramatic lashes against her blue eyes?

Adriana Lima

Adriana Lima looks lethal with her chiselled cheekbones. That sharply drawn eyeliner in the inner corners is fierce. She finished her look with dramatic lashes and neon orange lipstick.

Pixie Lott

I just can’t take my eyes off Pixie Lott’s tightly curled hair. She wore her lovely locks high on her head with loose tendrils falling out, giving them a delightfully unkempt look.

Sonam Kapoor

Sonam opted for a classic red lips-black winged-eye look in her black Ralph & Russo off-the-shoulder gown. At first, I was a little disappointed with Sonam’s ivory Ralph & Russo outfit and makeup because it looked pretty similar to her first day at Cannes. But there’s no denying that she looked lovely in her gold-hued makeup.

Mischa Barton

First, let’s talk about Mischa Barton’s eyes. I’m kind of torn between her eyes and that soft, romantic updo! If you love kohl-rimmed eyes, I urge you to do it like Barton — shimmery eyeshadow all around, black kohl in the waterline, and silvery-grey liner on the lower lid. I absolutely adore her loosely twisted updo.

Gaia Weiss

If you can look past her intense deep red lipstick, you’ll see that Gaia Weiss has a pretty interesting hairstyle going on there. While one side has been pulled back in a tight Dutch braid, the rest has been wrapped in tiny intricate twists and pinned into a high bun.

Lena Meyer-Landrut

Looks like the wet-look slicked back hairstyle is here to stay. A day after Kendall wore her hair in said hairstyle, Lena Meyer-Landrut wore her shoulder-grazing bob in a slicked back style. I like how she combined the hair with a powerful red pout.

Chanel Iman

I don’t know about you guys, but I just can’t stop crushing over Chanel Iman’s luminous skin. This is #StrobingGoals for sure.

Ruth Negga

Anyone who says your options for hairstyling are limited when you have short hair should take lessons from Ruth Negga. I lurrrv how she’s done up her short hair in a throwback to 1920s finger waves. So vintage, I can’t even!

Toni Garrn

Toni Garrn looked sharp in red lipstick, gold eyeshadow, and straight sleek hair.

Ana de Armas

Loosely wound, soft romantic hair seemed to be the order of the day. Ana de Armas wore hers in a style similar to Mischa Barton. The loose face-framing locks add a feminine edge to her look.
