22 Pen Eyeliners For Make-Up Virgins
Sloppy winged eyeliner is the bane of my existence. Then there are days when the liner on one eye looks thicker than the other, making me look like a crazy person. When I’ve overslept or am in a rush in the morning, I never attempt to line my eyes; kohled or bare eyes look far better than peepers that look like they’ve been lined in local transportation.
Some people can apply eyeliner with such razor-sharp precision that it makes me wonder what kind of sorcery they are practising. Any make-up artist worth their salt will tell you that expertly lined eyes take years and years of practise. But no matter how many years of practice I’ve put into lining my eyes, Q-tips continue to be the BFFs in my beauty arsenal (to clean up all those shaky mistakes).
Of late though, I’ve been experimenting with pen eyeliners over my usual gel pot, and I have to say that the ease and comfort of lining your eyes with them is unparalleled. It’s almost like I’m back in school with my sketch pen, only the canvas has changed! If you’re a beginner or only just getting into make-up, and the thought of drawing on perfectly crisp lines on your eyes is daunting, I suggest you start with a pen liner and work on becoming an expert with them first.
