These Hand Creams Will Find A Permanent Place In Your Vanity

By  |

Look, I tried. I really wanted this article to not include a handful of puns, but it probably is going to have a lot of them. You’ve been warned. In general, I am a very hands-on person. I am the kind of person that really relishes their biryani, tucking into every morsel with my fingers. This also means that my nails get stained, smell not that pleasant, and are usually dry from all the over-washing. I will, in most cases, have a moisturiser handy though. But if you are really looking to keep your hands hydrated without having them feel sweaty or unpleasant, you should invest in a hand cream. Please tell me all my hand puns have led you in the direction of this article being about hand creams.

Anyhoo, we put together a list of hand creams that will have your hands smelling like a floral bouquet or the ocean or lavender. Basically, we scoured the Internet for hand creams that will do the job, and do it well. So, instead of sandpaper, your hands will now feel like silk. Okay, a bit of an over-promise perhaps, but they will definitely be better hydrated.

Here are our favourite picks.

Innisfree Jeju Life Perfumed Hand Cream (Rs 300)

This is the hand cream you want when you want your hands to be moisturised, but not feeling sweaty and greasy. Innisfree spoils you with more than 10 fragrances to choose from, so you’re going to have to make some tough choices.

Skintruth Manicure Orange Blossom & Rosemary Nourishing Hand Lotion (Rs 613)

Honestly, this could’ve been just another hand lotion, but this one promises to work on cuticles and nails too, and that changes everything! *waits longingly for order to appear*

LuxaDerme Deep Moisturizing – Hand Hydration Gloves (Rs 250)

This is a bit of a spin on a hand lotion, these are actually gloves. You tuck your hands in for about 30 minutes, and they should appear on the other side, hydrated, nourished and supple.

Anatomicals Night Time Hand Cream (Rs 449)

First of all, we love the brand for their insanely fun product descriptions. Besides that, this product has a subtle fragrance that lingers on your hands, but not disturbingly so. And of course, it makes your hands look better, which is a plus!

Colorbar Fruit Drop Hydrating Hand Cream (Rs 446)

This Colorbar hand cream comes with a bunch of benefits, but the one that caught our attention was that it is enriched with Vitamin A and C. Plus, they’ve thrown in the goodness of a couple of fruits, and that has us hooked.

L’Occitane Lavender Hand Cream (Rs 1490)

This hand cream has a luxe lavender fragrance that is a rare find. It’s velvety smooth, and your hands will feel pampered. This is the kind of product your hands will thank you for.

Spa Ceylon Luxury Ayurveda Pink Lotus Almond Intensive Hand Cream (Rs 649)

They say the hands usually give away the age. If you don’t want your hands to betray you in this manner, this is probably a good hand cream to have around. It soothes and calms the skin leaving you with beautiful, soft hands.

Those were our picks. Have you had any hand creams you’ve loved? Tell us in the comments!
